Rimas: Kim Lorentzson paints with acrylic on canvas and the motifs are portraits and bodies, often women, which are overlapped and woven together into a landscape of abstract forms. The figurative is still there, but you have to strain your eye to find the shapes of the bodies. She is inspired by Jung's theories about the different parts and layers of the psyche and wants to express the complexity and multidimensional nature of man in her art. The idea with the works is to trigger both the feeling and the intellect.
