• Punch for Peace Punch for peace. The title of the legendary boxer's version of the famous Non-Violence Sculpture may sound contradictory. In fact, opposites marked the life of the combative Muhammad Ali. Despite being a multiple world champion in heavyweight boxing, one of the world's most uncompromising martial arts, Muhammad Ali had a lifelong commitment to nonviolence and peace. He lost his world title when he refused to report for military service in Vietnam and became involved in the American civil rights movement. Before the legendary match against world champion Georg Foreman in Zaire in 1974, The rumble in the Jungle, Ali uttered one of his most famous quotes: Float like a butterfly sting like a bee – his hands can't hit what his eyes can't see. The quote is at the center of Muhammad Ali's version of Carl-Fredrik Reuterswärd's famous sculpture. Muhammad Ali died in June 2016. Limited Edition Sculpture Muhammad Ali's sculpture for the Non-Violence Project comes in three sizes, 19cm, 30cm and 40cm, and is made on hand-painted polyresin. The sculpture is in a limited edition, the 19 cm is in an edition of 499 copies, the 30 cm is in an edition of 299 copies and the 40 cm is in 99 copies.
