"Uppsyn" by Lars Jonsson
Lars Jonsson, born in 1952, is an artist, writer and ornithologist. His passion for birds characterises his art, an interest that has followed him since childhood. Over the years he has exhibited his art all over the world. Lars works mainly in the field where he paints directly from his visual impressions, likes to paint directly in nature but also takes the sketchbook home to his studio where he completes his works.
The work Uppsyn Lars has observed and portrayed a tufted titmouse in a lichen-covered pine, where it can find spiders and insect pupae among the nooks and crannies.
Uppsyn is a brand new lithograph printed in early 2023 together with Björn Lumphé at Lumphé Litografiska in Långholmen, Stockholm.
