Bearded Fire Mask" by Patrik Jonson: The artwork Bearded Fire Mask is a photo taken by the underwater photographer Patrik Jonson. With his work, Patrik wants to show how fantastic and beautiful it still is in our seas and how important it is that we together preserve our natural heritage so it is not lost. Patrik says about the photo: "This is a fireworm (bearded fireworm), Hermodice Caruculata, approx. 15 cm. It looks a bit like centipedes and it is found all over the tropical coastal waters of the Atlantic. I think they are incredibly beautiful to look at, but you have to be careful so you don't burn yourself on them". The picture was taken at a depth of 20 meters, during Christmas 2021 off Tenerife.
