• St. Katarina Church, Visby" by Veronika Eriksson: About the artwork St. Katarina Church, Visby Veronika says: - I have created three motifs from beautiful Visby on Gotland. - This beautiful ruin that stands in the middle of the city piqued my interest during my daily walks on the time I lived there. - It is absolutely magical and in my mind it is just as beautiful now as I imagine it to be in its glory days. - It is an old monastery church and the church was completed in 1250 AD The church received the saint Catherine of Alexandria as patron saint, hence the name St. Catherine's Church. The artist Veronika Eriksson's passion for color and form is primarily expressed in art, but she is also interested in interior design, which becomes the common thread in Veronika's creative work.
