Photographer Henry Bronett is fond of the Dutch Baroque painter Balthasar van der Ast, with his fantastic flower arrangements, seashells and insects. - This photograph is a modest tribute to him and the artists whose appetizing arrangements were happy to decorate wealthy baroque homes in e.g. Holland. In Henry Bronett's photographs, the subjects are often given a human expression. He himself describes how he tries to capture the fragile and fragile in his pictures.
