• Some angels wear black1 : The artist Hanna Ekegren draws inspiration from the spiritual and from the conscious and subconscious. - I try to follow the colors and rarely have the motif clear to me when I start a painting. - In the creation of the artwork Some angels wear black, Hanna has drawn inspiration from Håkan Hellström's song of the same title. Hanna often listens to Håkan's music when she creates and she often finds inspiration in his lyrics. - The motif is about the fact that no one is perfect, no one is always happy and strong, says Hanna. - I think that we humans are sometimes each other's angels, that perhaps without realizing it, we can change the direction of a fellow human being, Hanna continues. - A hug, a little small talk with a stranger can mean everything. But no one should always have to be the strong one. - We all fly through life with broken wings, scars that make us beautiful and the personalities we are, concludes Hanna. Hanna says that many of her clients have seen something in her artwork that alleviates a heavy and difficult situation or experience, or who just want a painting that gives them energy. - If my art can give people joy and energy, I am satisfied, says Hanna.
