• Orphan" by Karin Holmström Wild animals often recur in artist Karin Holmström's visual world. A trip during the student years to South Africa and Kreuger National Park left a big impression which will come out in the art. Preserving elephants and other wild animals on our planet has become a mission in her artistry. Graphic sheet in limited edition Karin calls her style figuratively abstract – the motifs change, it is rather the colors, impulses, direct feeling and power that characterize her paintings. She does not want the work to feel too finished, it should continue with the viewer.
