• There is something about the horse's way of moving, something about the proportions that fascinates us. Today, the wild horse's existence has been almost obliterated. The free thinking, the spontaneous wandering, moving with the wind has been framed and enclosed. The great fields , the infinite expanses where thoughts move unhindered are shrinking. The wild horse symbolizes freedom in thought, to think outside the everyday and outside the box." Series with wild horses In Per Josephson's wild horse paintings there are several references from art history, including to 60s pop art. He has created art with the wild horse as a motif in several different techniques, including sculptures and graphic prints. In the wild horse series created for NOA Gallery there are three new motifs. graphic prints in an upcoming series featuring wild horses. The print is serigraphy and the motifs are available in an edition of 150 numbered and signed copies. The series also includes a sculpture, Wild Horse Sculpture 1, in brushed brass.
