• My Big Mirror (original): – This work actually derives from one of my other paintings; another (smaller) version named "Mirror " – which I have reworked to create more dynamics in the image. The size of the final version was a whopping 150 x 150 centimeters, hence the title My Big Mirror (with emphasis on "big"). The situation reflects vanity and envy. The main character is looking in the mirror, which is staring back at him or her (read: him) and behind the back is a smaller figure that pecks for attention. Again a representative of my odd figures, which are recurring among my works. Unique original work in oil and acrylic - one copy only Tony Nilsson's creative process is about following instinct over logic; an experimental process where he tests and above all feels himself out, maybe regrets and regrets again. In other words, creativity is allowed to flow freely. The forms are guided by his gut feeling and inner guide, which during the course of the work tells him which way to go next and it is never possible to say in advance neither where, when nor how it will end. Unlike many other artists, he therefore does not feel completely comfortable being placed in a compartment, but rather wants to (continue) to be free to create in his own way, regardless of how it expresses itself.
