• My Big Mirror : – This motif is actually derived from one of my other paintings; another (smaller) version called "Mirror" – which I have reworked to create more dynamics in the image. The size of the final version (the original) was a whopping 150 x 150 centimeters, hence the title My Big Mirror (with emphasis on "big"). The picture reflects vanity and envy, where the main character looks in the mirror; who stares back at him or her (read: him). Behind the back there is also a smaller figure that calls for attention. Again a good representative of my odd fantasy figures - a recurring motif among my works. Graphic sheet in limited edition Tony Nilsson's creative process is about following instinct over logic; a process where he experimentally tests and feels his way, maybe regrets and regrets again and in other words lets creativity flow freely. The forms are completely controlled by his gut feeling and inner guide who, during the course of the work, tells him which way to go next. My Big Mirror is a graphic sheet, a so-called pigment print, and is sold at Noagallery.se in a limited edition of 250 copies, numbered and signed by the artist.
