• Homecoming Catharina Edlund, born in 1974 in Sundsvall, invites us to a world of images where we meet peculiar beings in an at once close and infinite perspective that sets our thoughts in motion. Both motif and technique are characterized by very careful work. Catharina is fascinated by old Japanese woodcuts, she is inspired by the archaic way of telling stories, by the movement across the picture surface in an often distorted perspective. In this idiom, she weaves in completely everyday events from her immediate surroundings. Friends as well as family members can be found here.
