The candy machine (original): – This motif depicts a candy machine with butterflies inside, a magpie sitting on top and blue tits flying around it. I often draw inspiration for my painting from nature, from everything that grows and flourishes, but am also attracted by animals, mystery and contrasts. I don't want to write (read: paint) anyone's nose, but leave room for the viewer to make their own interpretation.
