• The Candy Vending Machine: – This motif depicts a candy vending machine with butterflies inside, a magpie sitting on top and blue tits flying around it. I often find inspiration for my painting in nature, from everything that grows and sprouts, and am also attracted by animals, mystery and contrasts. I don't want to write (read: paint) anyone's nose, but leave room for the viewer to make their own interpretation.
