Focus: Måns Heidvall has sailed all his life, preferably racing. In many of his paintings, he depicts the longing for sailing and the sense of freedom it entails. - I have been active in and on the sea my whole life. Måns Heidvall has previously taught graphics and worked a lot with lithographic printing, but now paints with acrylics and masking tape to bring out his characteristic motifs. He came up with the technique when an illness made it difficult for him to hold the brush still and get the right sharpness.
