  • Anita Ekberg" - Photograph Anita Ekberg and her husband, the British actor Anthony Steel, photographed by Jan Dahlander in 1956 in Anita Ekberg's hometown of Malmö. The couple were married between 1956 and 1959. Anita Ekberg grew up at Östra Fäladsgatan 29 in Malmö. She won the Miss Sweden competition in 1951 and ended up in the US and Hollywood. The blonde beauty had her biggest film success in Italy and is best known for her role in Frederico Fellini's "La dolce vita" where she bathes in the Trevi Fountain. She was married once more but her great love was Gianni Agnelli, founder of the Fiat car company. From time to time, Anita Ekberg continued to make an impact in her former homeland and she allowed herself to be interviewed sometimes, always with an indomitable attitude and usually with a glass of white wine in her hand. She died in her home south of Rome in 2015. The painting is sold framed and is in the format 70 x 50 cm.
