The original was designed by Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärds in 1980 as a symbol of and tribute to John Lennon's fight for a peaceful world. The twin brothers' own interpretation of the symbol was named 830 13 for Peace by Henrik and Joel Lundqvist after the postal address in Åre, where they are from. All surplus from the sale goes to the non-profit organization Non-Violence Project Foundation whose aim and purpose is to reduce violence in society.
